90 delegates meet in Mombasa

17 November 2017

IF and Child-Help organised in Mombasa their biannual African workshop. 90 participants from Nigeria to Sudan and even from The Philippines shared their findings and expertise. The long cooperation with IF, our Norwegian, Swedish and Canadian friends resulted in a strong professional network. They proof that also in the Global South children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus have a future. In Africa they say: ‘to raise a child you need a whole village’. In Mombasa this IF and Child-Help village came together. The leaders of National youth groups show that everything is possible. They are the result of the hard work of many people within our network. Now these young leaders take an active role in the national organisations for spina bifida in their country.
