In Sudan, our local parent group, the Spina Bifida Federal Association (SBFA), decided to celebrate the International day for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus in their own way. On the 2nd of December, hundred parents and their children with Spina Bifida and/or Hydrocephalus, volunteers and other partner organisations came together to draw attention to these two disabilities. Various speeches were held to discuss the problems of Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. Also in Sudan, Neural Tube Disorders (NTD’s) are the most common congenital defects, for which help and health care are continuously lacking. Thanks to the parent group SBFA, Child-Help can support our children in Sudan through medical and social services. Thank you SBFA!
