In her book "Dead Aid, why development aid is not working and how there is another way for Africa” Dambisa Moyo, a Zambian economist, makes up the painful balance of development aid over the past 70 years. The aid has failed and has in no way contributed to the economic and cultural growth of the African continent. What is more, the aid has contributed to the further decline of most African countries. Her book accompanies Pierre Mertens on my way to Niger, the poorest country of the world where also children with spina bifida are born. He joins the Paris Teo2004 team organizes a neurosurgical mission at the National Hospital in Niamey. Read on his blog his touching travel report.https://kunst-leven-dood.blogspot.com/2018/12/a-fig-leaf-size-of-business-card.html?fbclid=IwAR2X0u1U51VMKBweUYKNcB3GSX8FFoLv287aH1XcKkbn1k5iujORLxcHjZo
