continence management in Zanzibar

13 July 2019

On July 13 our partner NED in Zanzibar invited the parents of children with spina bifida for an information day about incontinence. Child-Help trained two nurses in the continence project last year. On the 26th of July the NED team starts with a continence consultation once a month. Hidaya from the ASBATH parent group in Dar es Salaam will help them to start this program successfully. Child-Help ensures that all necessary material is in stock. In addition to good surgery, this is the start of lifelong care for our target group on the island.
